This 2001 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 LT is a gorgeous truck that spent
most of its life in California and the last couple of years in
Oregon. This is a Loaded up LT and it is powered with the 8.1L V8
which everyone wants and nobody can find anymore. This truck has
clearly been babied and well cared for and it has a great look and
stance with the perfect height lift installed and aftermarket
wheels and tires. The body is excellent! It is super straight and
rust free. The Victory Red Paint still looks amazing and appears to
be all original. All of the chrome and trim is in excellent
original condition. The underside of this truck is also super clean
and we found no rust issues with this Suburban.
The interior is also in excellent condition. It has the LT
Preferred package so it has pretty much every option available.
There is a picture of the window sticker in the listing. It is an
LT so it has the leather interior and the seats are still in really
nice condition with only some minor wear on the front seat bottoms
which par for the course on GM vehicles from this era. The carpet,
headliner, door panels, dash, and dash bezel are all original and
in excellent shape. It has had Weathertech floor mats in it since
new. The headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals are
all working. It has working power windows and power locks. It has
tilt wheel and working cruise control. It has working heated seats
in the front. The gauges all work. The horn and windshield wipers
work. It has working front and rear heat and AC.
Mechanically this Suburban is top notch and it runs and drives
wonderful. The engine is the original 8.1L 8100 Vortec V8 that runs
strong and smooth with no issues or red flags that we found. The
transmission is the 4L80E Automatic that shifts nice and it is
mated to the Autotrac transfer case. The 4WD works like it should.
The rear axle is the AAM 10.5 with 3.73 gears and a factory limited
slip. The front axle is the IFS with 3.73 gears. It has a newer 4
Inch BDS lift that was professionally installed. The Autoride has
been eliminated and there are no warning lights for the Autoride.
This thing drives and rides down the rode nice!! Recent service
includes a new master cylinder, new transmission lines and flush,
and new oil cooler lines. This is all sitting on a nice set of Fuel
chrome wheels with 295/70/17 Mud Terrain Tires.
