When it comes to collectible classics, it's hard to be a Tri-Five
Chevy. But, with so many of them roaming the highways and byways of
America, it can be hard to stand out from the car show crowd. That
won't be a problem if you take one look at this 1957 Chevrolet Bel
Air Convertible Restomod. Fully repainted in a beautiful Imperial
Ivory exterior finish and contrasted with a sleek power-operated
black canvas top, this drop-top has a slammed-to-the-ground stance
that shows off its massive 22-inch polished five-spoke wheels shod
in low profile 305/25ZR-22 rubber to give this cruiser much more
than just another retro revival vibe.
Inside, we find a beautiful two-tone red and silver interior
featuring a split-bench seat and an upgraded four-spoke Budnik
steering wheel that sits before a hybrid digital/analog aftermarket
red-backlit gauge cluster. Handling soundtrack duties is a
floor-mounted Alpine AM/FM/Aux/Bluetooth head unit that works in
conjunction with a massive trunk-mounted Atrend SPL subwoofer box
and amp to blast tunes loud enough to be heard and felt even
cruising down the highway with the top-down.
Under that unmistakable hood, we find a nearly bulletproof modern
6.2-liter LS3 V-8 that in stock form makes around 430 hp and 425
lb-ft of torque, which is more than enough to get this
old-school-cool '57 moving in a hurry. Additionally, this engine
sports a Griffin aluminum radiator, long tube headers, a true-dual
exhaust and a sweet-sounding Borla exhaust to allow this Chevy to
growl with the proper small block snarl.

cylinder to scrub off that small block speed in a heartbeat. If you
