Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this stunning and
hard to find 1974 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 LT. The '74 Camaro was a
one year only production model and the last of the Z-28s until
Chevrolet brought them back in 1977. Approximately 13,802 Z-28s
rolled off the assembly line in 1974 with an estimated third of the
total number receiving the upgraded LT option. This beautiful
Antique White (11) Camaro still carries its original numbers
matching L-82, 4-bolt main, 350ci engine. To keep things running
smooth and strong, the powerplant recently received a fresh valve
job, double roller timing chain, and a complete tune up including
rebuilding the original Quadrajet carb and installing a new HEI
distributor. A crisp shifting turbo 400 automatic transmission and
a factory 3.42 posi rear differential (one of 6473) proves the
right boxes were checked on the Norwood assembly plant order form.
This rare Z-28 has been garage kept, well cared for, and is a one
respray survivor believed to be wearing its original sheet metal.
The owners manual is still in the glove box and the original spare
tire still resides in the trunk. The seats, dash, door panels,
headliner, center console and package tray all appear untouched by
time. For those who love the bowtie, this is a solid, clean, and
collectable second-gen Camaro at a great price!This 1974 Chevrolet
Camaro Z-28 LT is listed by our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in
