Pro-Tour Camaro. A HUGE pile of receipts justify the cost and
quality of the rotisserie restoration with only 600 miles on the
new power train. It has a General Motors 502 Ram Jet engine. The
product of a nut and bolt build. This superb RS/SS convertibles new
from top to bottom and shows it in every detail. The original power
plant has been replaced with a GM Performance 502/502 HP Ram Jet
engine. which is famous for its robust all-forged bottom end and
unrelenting torque. Fitted with Hooker headers and Flow-master
exhaust, it is teamed with a custom torque converter, a 400 Turbo
automatic and a 12-bolt rear end housing a 3.73 Eaton Posi-traction
differential and Moser axle shafts. An Alston sub-frame and frame
connectors add torsional rigidity, while handling is enhanced with
tubular front control arms, rack and pinion steering, coil-over
shocks and Wilwood disc brakes at all fours corners. The car is
rolling on a set of chrome American Racing TT2 style rims with
black centers that tie into the black accents nicely.
