1968 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK CALIFORNIA CAR, FACTORY A/C, P/S, C-CODE
This Mustang is exceptionally clean. Looking down both sides-it is
straight! It has nice fitment and finish, no rust or damage. It
looks spectacular in its original color, code F Gulfstream Aqua.
The paint is nice, smooth and has a glossy finish. The weather
stripping and door seals have been replaced along with the mirrors,
door handles, front and rear bumpers and tail light bezels. All of
the stainless trim looks great! This little pony rides on a set of
15" American Racing Torq Thrust wheels that are wrapped in 205/65
Kelly Edge A/S radial tires! The engine bay is nicely detailed with
its original 289 ci V-8 engine that has been completely rebuilt
with few performance upgrades. Upgrades include: Holley carburetor
with factory manifold and HEI ignition. It also features power
steering, factory A/C that blows cold, a newer aluminum radiator
and shocks, a set of black finned Cobra valve covers and a chrome
air cleaner lid with 289 call outs on it. All of the wiring is
neat. The engine bay has a nice satin black finish. The light and
dark Aqua interior looks amazing and very complimentary to the
Gulfstream Aqua exterior. The door panels, carpet, headliner and
seat upholstery all look great. The dash area looks amazing with
its black insert and aftermarket 3 spoke wood steering wheel. The
dash pad is in excellent condition. The lenses are clear. It has a
factory AM radio. The interior lights work as they should The
undercarriage is exceptionally clean as well. The front end
steering and suspension components have been gone through. The
front and rear shocks have been replaced. The bottom of the motor
is clean as well as the C4-Automatic 3- speed transmission; it has
been serviced and has a new pan and gasket. There is a dual exhaust
system that runs all the way out the back. The floor is solid and
all clean metal. The trunk compartment is very solid and detailed
with a trunk mat, spare tire and jacking assembly. This is one very
nice Pony that will definitely make you the Stallion of the herd!
