Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1989 BMW 325i Convertible.
Powered by a 2.5L straight-6 motor (M20B27), power is routed to the
rear wheels through an automatic transmission. This smooth revving
motor may not make for the fastest vehicle on the road, but when
combined with the balanced handling of the E30 generation 3-Series,
the 325i becomes a blast to drive.
The example offered here is finished in Bronzitbeige-Metallic which
is complemented by a black convertible soft top. According to the
selling owner, the soft top was recently replaced and the vehicle
received a repaint in its factory color. In addition to the
exterior getting a refresh, the interior was reupholstered, new
tires installed, and a plethora of mechanical work was
completed.
The E30 generation of the BMW 3-Series, produced between 1982 and
1994, remains a favorite among enthusiasts for several key reasons.
Its timeless, boxy styling and well-balanced proportions have aged
gracefully, appealing to both classic car fans and new enthusiasts.
Mechanically, the E30 is relatively simple and highly engaging to
drive, with a focus on steering feel, balanced weight distribution,
and lively handling. Moreover, the model's strong motorsport
heritage, particularly the legendary E30 M3, has cemented its
status as an icon of performance and driving pleasure. Finally, its
robust build quality, abundance of aftermarket support, and
enthusiast community have helped keep the E30 relevant and popular
decades after its release.
