Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle
Malibu SS sport coupe for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The
first Malibu was a top-line subseries of the mid-sized Chevrolet
Chevelle from 1964 to 1972. The Malibu SS performance package was
available only as a two-door Sport Coupe hardtop or
convertible.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in white
vinyl and accompanied by a center console and black carpets. A
custom vintage stereo has taken the place of the factory radio. A
custom four-spoke steering wheel fronts an Omega Kustom Instrument
140-mph speedometer with additional gauge showing fuel, volts, oil,
and temp. A center Faria RPM gauge was added as well. The
speedometer was replaced during the refurbishment and the digital
odometer shows 142 miles, total mileage is unknown.
The Malibu left the factory finished in Silver Blue Poly and was
refinished in red in 2015. Equipment includes quad headlights,
chrome bumpers, SS badging, dual side mirrors, electric windshield
wipers, quarter vent windows, and the trim was finished in black.
The 14" SS wheels are mounted to P235/60R14 Cooper Cobra Radial
tires.
A replacement 350ci V8 was added in 2022 from a 1978 Corvette and
is paired to a three-speed automatic transmission. The SS has front
disc brakes and rear drum. Has power steering and power brakes.
