1940 Willys Coupe. All steel 1937 coupe with 1940 Deluxe front end,
rear fenders and deck lid. Original frame that has been boxed and
triangulated with 8 point chrome moly roll cage. Rear end is a Ford
9' Detroit Locker with 4.30 gears. 70 mph at 2500. Transmission is
modified 4L80 overdrive with lock up. Engine is Dart Little M block
has 416 cu. in. with Callie's crank and Eagle rods, balanced and
blue printed. Engine dynoed at 840 hp at 6% under driven. JE forged
pistons with 7.8 compression ratio. Heads are ported and polished
Dart Platinum Pro 1 with large intake valves. Intake is custom long
runner air gap with Littlefield 871 Hi Helix supercharger with
Kobelco Superman rotors. Engine also utilizes water injection,
although I have never had a heating or detonation problem. Engine
and chassis was put together by Pro Mod racer John Scialpi. Procar
leather bucket seats and leather interior. Carpet is charcoal
German Square Weave. Wheels are American Racing polished 5 spokes
with Mickey Thompson radial tires front and rear. Four wheel
Aerospace disc brakes. This car gets driven every week and will not
over heat in 100� weather. I have owned the car for 37 years. 22
gallon gas tank and runs on 91 octane gas. condition: excellent
