Vehicle Description
1973 Opel GT Restored by prior owner and thoroughly documented with
a file folder full of receipts etc. Current owner bought this as a
gift for an elderly family member who can no longer drive. The body
and paint work are exceptional and except for the typical floor
rust, is otherwise solid. Paint is 2-stage base/clear and well
done. At least an 8.5 out of 10 for its merits. Panel alignment is
good. Glass is undamaged. No missing parts. Chrome Bumpers are in
great shape and likely rechromed or replaced by prior owner. Wheels
& Tires are new. Black vinyl seat interior is in great shape. No
seat wear. No sagging headliner etc. Odometer shows 27k miles that
I suspect is beyond the mechanical limits at 127k. Even still, the
car starts easily and runs well. It has a noisy exhaust needing to
be replaced, but a new exhaust system is included with the sale.
There is a host of new parts including Exhaust, Rotors, Antenna
Cable and a short list of other acquisitions that go with the car.
It will need brake work for safe driving etc., but unable to get it
into the mechanic by the time of this sale. It will need floor
replacement or repair If there is interest, an extra engine, and
transmission came with the car from prior owner that are included
