This 1997 Ford F-250 HD Crew Cab Short Box pickup is a really nice,
really clean OBS that are becoming very hard to find. We have not
had one of these in awhile. This truck spent its life in the
Pacific NW so you know it is a clean truck and it has obviously
been well cared for. It is in excellent original condition. The b
ody on this truck is straight and clean. The Oxford White paint
appears to be all original and it still looks excellent! All of the
chrome and trim also appears to be original and is till in great
condition. The bed was lined when new and it has a matching topper
that is also in excellent shape. The underside of this F250 is
really clean and we found no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is also in excellent condition. The front seat bottoms
were redone in real leather because of some wear, but the rest of
the seats are still in great condition. The carpet, headliner, door
panels, and dash are original and still in excellent original
condition. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn
signals are all working. The gauges all work. This truck has tilt
wheel and working cruise control. The power windows and power locks
work. The horn and windshield wipers work and the heat and AC are
also working.
Mechanically this truck is excellent. It starts easy and runs and
drives great! The engine is the original 7.5L 460 V8 that runs
strong with no issues or red flags that we found. It had the timing
chain, front cover gasket, and water pump replaced around 35,000
miles ago. The transmission is the E40D that shifts nice and it is
mated to the Manual Borg Warner transfer case. The 4WD works like
it should. The rear axle is the 10.25 with 3.55 gears and a factory
limited slip. The front axle is a Dana 44 TTB with 3.55 gears. This
is all sitting on a nice set of aftermarket rims with new All
Terrain Tires size 285/70/16.
