This car is a true 242 convertible and had a frame off restoration about 16 years ago so the floor pans and quarters was replaced when this was redone, and i have had it for 5 years now. The motor is a 455 out of a 74 Pontiac with 1971 number 68 heads. It was not a option but there is after market air This has the turbo 400 rebuilt 500 miles ago with the Hurst his and hers shifter. Has new Dakota Digital gauges white face, new seats and interior with a newer top with the back glass is glass.
I have gone through the motor to make sure all the gaskets where new and while i was at it, I replaced the water pump and fuel pump while I had everything apart been though it did not need to. This motor was built by Motion Performance out of the east cost somewhere, it is stamped on the block.
I rebuilt the suspension with new springs and very large sway bars and lowered the car by two in. The tires and wheels are new in the last 500 miles . And I also went thought all the wiring to make sure that was also up to date and the radio looks and is the stock AM radio but it was been worked on to have FM stations also and a attachment to attach your iPhone for music that way also. I did all of this not because i had to, it was just me wanting things the way i like them.
The paint has some road rash on it because we like to drive out hotrods, but is n great shape the car took top 10 at a car show last year of 360 cars there.
