Earth Motorcars is excited to offer this amazing: 1966 Chevrolet
Nova LS3 Custom Restomod. When it came to the sporty car market,
Chevrolet worked hard. The first Camaros arrived in 1967, but the
previous year, 1966, those who wanted something bigger than a
Corvair without the price tag of a Corvette were sated by this
offering: the restyled Chevy II. Still considered to be the
highlight season of Chevy II production by many enthusiasts today,
the car here has been given a professional frame-off rotisserie
restoration. While serious racers like Bill Grumpy Jenkins would
have selected the hot RPO L79 small-block back in the day, this car
now hosts a more modern LS3 6.2L/500 HP V-8 engine under the hood,
rebuilt with performance in mind. Featuring FiTech fuel injection
and an aluminum intake, OEM Corvette valve covers, light chrome
work and updated cooling equipment, this powerplant is backed by a
4-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Suspension upgrades have
been done as well, with a Mustang II rack-and-pinion front end,
tubular A-arm front suspension and 4-wheel power disc brakes with
drilled and slotted rotors and a Wilwood master cylinder. The
9-inch Quick Performance rear differential and 4-link rear
suspension complete it.The premium Nova hardtop body now wears
beautiful Metallic Burnt Orange clear coat paint, with light
changes to the body such as the mild cowl induction hood. Inside,
there are still factory bucket seats and the center console with
the factory shifter. The changes then begin in earnest with Vintage
Air, a tilt column with custom steering wheel, upgraded Dakota
Digital gauges and Jenson flat-screen audio and accessory monitor.
Outside are Chevy II and Nova trim tags, the rear-mount radio
antenna, nice chrome trim lines and the unmistakable 1966 grille.
Thanks to the mini-tubbed rear end, the car rides on a set of
custom chromed five-spoke aluminum wheels, which are equipped with
ZR-rated low-profile tires. Still fondly referred to as a Chevy
Deuce today, this Chevy II keeps the past alive, but is also still
built for action in the modern world.Features:Frame-off
