Exterior Highlights:
The exterior of the car is flat out stunning, the vehicle is finished in high gloss, two tone bright Gypsy red and India ivory paint . The body fit on the car is excellent, the body is very straight. The stainless trim is excellent and all the chrome and stainless hardware is in excellent shape. The vehicle is equipped with a like new set of 17” chrome American torque thrust wheels with excellent tires. This ’55 is ready to go cruising and will stand out amongst the crowd. Interior Highlights:
The interior of the ’55 is very nice with the original bench seat covered in beige and white leatherette with a front seat removable console with cup holders. The vehicle has a very nice original steering column. The vehicle is equipped with after market air conditioning that blows cold. The vehicle has brand new carpet. The vehicle has it’s original gauge cluster and a set of functional auxiliary gauges for water temp, oil pressure, and battery voltage. The vehicle is equipped with an updated AM/FM stereo that looks very original and sounds good with rear deck speakers. The vehicle is equipped with tinted glass that is crystal clear and excellent. The vehicle is equipped with electric windshield wipers. The headliner in this vehicle is in great shape. The ’55 has the classic Chevrolet dash with oodles of detail including the integrated clock. Mechanically this car is equipped with a fantastic drivetrain consisting of a 383 stroker motor with a mild cam, it has a great hot rod sound. The engine is equipped with aluminum heads, a polished aluminum edelbrock intake, and a 750 Holley Double pumper carburetor. The engine has ceramic coated headers, and dual 2” stainless exhaust block. The vehicle is equipped with smooth shifting 700R4 transmission with overdrive. The rear end is a 10 bolt with 3:42 gears with posi-traction. The car has Borgesen power steering and power front disk brakes. The car has an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The engine has chrome valve covers, a polished aluminum air cleaner, the engine compartment is very clean and detailed. As part of the build the front suspension was rebuilt with 2” drop spindles and a front power disk brake conversion kit. This car starts, runs, drives, and stops without issue. This is a super sharp ‘55 you can get in and enjoy from day one and have an unbelievably sharp vehicle. The undercarriage of the vehicle is super clean and solid.
