Vehicle Description
This is a stunning presenting Rolls-Royce Phantom finished in
2-tone Dark Tungsten over light Tungsten with a single teal grey
fine line to match the light teal grey Connolly hide interior. The
interior wood is cross-banded light maple. The 2004-2007 Phantoms
were the truest and most profound signature of the Rolls-Royce
brand since the company became under the stewardship of BMW. These
early Phantoms saluted the heritage of the marque by reintroducing
bespoke designs and tradition in concert with modern technology.
They remain the hallmark behemoths of luxury that saw the relaunch
of the name under a brand new model carrying all the poise and
elegance of the earlier Crewe motor cars - before the model became
the riff-raff representation of untraditional owners and their
indulgence in Gaudi color-schemes, cringy options and silly
childish features like big wheels and flashing LED lighting from
all unexpected orifices. The opposing side doors on Phantom is
retrospective of the days of coachbuilt Rolls-Royce motor cars like
the Phantom V as deployed for VIP and, in many case, Royal use. It
is but one example of the very reason the car is deserving of its
name. This Phantom is big, and dynamic, yet still very elegant with
all the luxury expected of "the world's best motor car", without
the gizmos and gimmicks of the current models which, sadly, show
the Company has now lost its way. This is a very clean and dry car
that has NEVER been subjected to inclement weather. But instead,
housed in a climate controlled environment away from the perils of
winter. The car shows 71,000 miles. Maintained by Rolls-Royce
service agents, the car has been well looked after without
constraints of cost or time. Under the care of Park-Ward Motors,
its pampered life has continued to enable her to be presented to
you in fine condition. The car currently sports chrome finish 21"
wheels but also available are the original metric PAX wheels, Both
are not included but you are welcome to choose your preference. The
body and paint on the car are excellent. There are a couple of
parking scratches at the centre of the front and rear bumpers which
we are happy to repair for the new owner. We thought we would leave
them so any prospective buyer could see they were nothing more than
this. The interior of the car presents very nicely without any
unsightly wear and tear. The light-burl walnut wood presents well
albeit with some hairline fractures in the clear coat in some
areas. These have all been photographed. The car has the factory
added option of electrically controlled curtains to the rear side
and back windows. These can be individually and independently
controlled by the driver and the rear seat passengers. (The rear
curtain is intermittent). Carpets, mouton overlay rugs; are all in
good condition but the headliner is showing signs of drooping so,
again, we will attend to this prior to delivery to the new owner.
This will allow for the personal choice of fabric or leather as the
buyer might prefer. As per the age old expression of "a picture is
worth a thousand words" we stop here and recommend you view the
many pictures of this honest example supplied to you by America's
number 1 classic Rolls-Royce and Bentley restorer and seller
