Here is a pristine example of a 1963.5 Ford Galaxie 500 ‘’R-Code’’ 427ci 4-Speed. It was born and first sold in Los Angeles, CA where it was raced. After its short career somewhere in the late 60’s – early 70’s, it was put away in storage for a little bit over 30years before being sold and shipped to Western Canada, more precisely in British Columbia. This is where it was restored and kept for the last years of its ownership before being brough back to Montreal, Quebec by us.

This car was meticulously restored & totally done about 12-14yrs ago. It was driven for about 1500miles since, mostly went to shows & classic car meets. During its restoration, the paint was completely redone to its original color Wimbledon white, the engine & trans were rebuilt and the original rear end received new bearings & seals. We also took care of testing and if necessary, restoring every component that needed it. The condition of the body and paint is excellent. There is no rust present on the vehicle, no scratches or stone chips. The repaint was done with high quality materials. The undercarriage is also perfect, it was brought to bare metal before being repainted in Corinthian white.

This car has all original metal body panels with Ford date stamps visible all around which is extremely rare for a Ford from this era. Body was brought back to bare metal before its last repaint.

This one is an ''R-Code'' and was equipped with the most high performance engine that Ford was making at the time, the legendsary 427ci side oiler with dual 4barrel 600cfm carburetors. The engine block, the heads, carburetors and all the components around are Original & date correct to this Galaxie. The original Borg Warner T10 was rebuilt with new gears & synchros. The Rear end is still the original 9'' with rare 4:11 gears option.

The factory Red & Red interior was restored, its condition is immaculate. The seat covers & foam, carpet, headliner are new. The dash & dash aluminum panel, gauges, steering wheel & other accessories were professionally restored.
