1967 CHEVROLET CAMARO RS/SS FACTORY 4-SPEED CAR,12 BOLT!!! This is
one good looking Camaro RS/SS. The fit and finish is nice. It looks
amazing in its original color code R, Bolero Red. Looking down both
sides, it is straight. The black accent stripe on the front is
painted on and smooth to the touch. All of the glass is in great
condition. The front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. The
taillight bezels look great. All of the weather stripping and door
seals are in great shape as well. The hideaway headlights open and
close as they should. This Camaro sits on a set of 15x7 Rally
wheels with new beauty rings and flat center caps wrapped in a set
of BFG T/A radials 245/60/15 in rear and 215/70/15 in the front.
The engine compartment is nicely detailed with a 350 ci engine
bearing casting #3970010. It features a few performance mods: an
aluminum intake manifold with a Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, HEI
ignition, Edelbrock aluminum valve covers and chrome air cleaner
cover. Other features include a new brake booster with dual master
cylinder, correct spring type battery cables, a set of ceramic
coated headers and power steering. The deluxe interior has been
refurbished from the headliner to the carpet. The seats have been
reupholstered. The deluxe door panels look new. Looking forward at
the dash, it is clean. It features an original 3 spoke steering
wheel with SS 350 center cap horn button. It has the optional
factory tach in the dash and the gauge cluster on the console. It
has a Muncie shifter coming out of the factory center console. It
also has front and rear deluxe seat belts and new sill plates. The
undercarriage is all clean metal and nicely detailed. The subframe
and all the components were removed and replaced. It has factory
traction bars that were only used on high performance Camaros.
There is a 2.5" dual factory style exhaust system with a correct
transverse muffler and tailpipes that exit out behind the rear
tire. Looking up at the motor, it is clean as well as the Muncie
M20 4-speed transmission. Power is sent to its original 12 bolt
posi rear end featuring 3:31 gears. The E-brake assembly is
complete and working. The trunk is nicely detailed containing a
spare tire and jacking assembly. This amazing 1st gen Camaro RS/SS
and a 4-speed transmission sounds like a lot of fun to me!!!!!
