Known as part of the lineup of cars that saved Chrysler from financial collapse, the K platform cars were front-wheel drive, efficient vehicles that could be adapted to create many different models. Featured in in the movie St Elmo's Fire, the LeBaron convertible represented success and upward mobility.

The odometer and gauge assembly were replaced at 54,000 miles. The odometer currently shows just over 5,000 miles which added together is consistent with the mileage reports on the clean car fax report
