1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 454 4-SPEED TRANS, TEXAS CAR! What a
looker! This 1970 Chevelle SS looks amazing in factory color code
48, Forest Green with white accent SS stripes running down the hood
and trunk lid. It also features a functional Cowl Induction hood
with factory hood pins. It certainly stands out from all of the
others. When I look down the sides it is absolutely laser straight
and has excellent fit and finish. The paint is smooth and very
glossy. Up front- the headlight bezels, grill and bumper look
amazing. All the stainless trim is polished like chrome. It has
newer weather stripping and door seals. It sits on a set of SS
Rally wheels 15x8 with 275/60/15 on the rear and 15x7 on the rear
with 225/70/15 a set of Cooper Cobra radial tires for that
aggressive look that it deserves. The engine compartment is nicely
detailed and original looking. It has a 454 GM performance crate
motor 454 ci motor, casting # 12550313. lt has a few performance
upgrades: MSD HEI ignition, correct factory chrome valve covers and
Cowl Induction air cleaner. Other features include: dual feed
Holley carburetor, power steering, Delco Moraine power brake
booster with the correct master cylinder, correct spring type
battery cables and a 4-core radiator. The engine compartment is
finished in satin black. It is very clean and tidy! The black
bucket seat interior is new. The seats have new upholstery and
cushions. It has newer carpet and sill plates. Looking at the dash,
it is in excellent condition. The dash pad is nice, no cracks. The
heater controls the slide with ease. It features a retro AM/FM
radio, Sure Grip 3 spoke factory SS steering wheel and a tilt
steering column. All the courtesy lights work. It also offers
aftermarket Chevelle SS floor mats and original GM front and rear
seatbelts. The undercarriage is very clean metal. The front
suspension and steering have been rebuilt and detailed. The bottom
of the motor is spotless and so is the Muncie 4 speed manual
transmission. Some features include: power steering, front power
disc brakes, new fuel & brake lines, new gas tank & straps, new
sending unit, 12-bolt rear with 3:31 gears, F41 suspension and rear
boxed in control arms with sway bar. It also has a new 2.5" dual
exhaust system that runs all the way out the back with the correct
cowbell exhaust tips. The E-brake assembly is complete and working.
The underside of this Chevelle is very impressive, same as the top
side! The trunk is finished with a light coat of splatter paint. It
comes complete with a trunk mat, correct spare tire, jack assembly
