This beautiful vintage 1967 Beetle has been well treated its entire life. Garage kept, it spent most of its time in the stable of a private estate’s classics collection after undergoing a thorough restoration and being treated to a stunning new paint job. And the best part is – just last summer – it had a brand new 1600 cc dual port EMPI engine installed together with a 38mm eGas carburetor and all new essential accessories. (You might want to check out the website - empius dot com - if you aren't familiar with the company.)
The car is an older restoration, now with a new, less than 500 mile, 1.6l dual port engine and performance fuel delivery system; a gentleman’s sleeper buggy, if you will. The long list of additional features includes a beautiful interior with near perfect upholstery, headliner and dark blue carpeting, chrome engine bay surround, new brake lines and pads, front end parts, axle boots, the carpeted trunk, newer spare and tires, the original tool kit and jack as well as the owner’s manual and two sets of keys.
The undercarriage is near perfect with no rust issues and only an older patch under the pedals. The paint is as glossy as a wet piece of candy with only a couple of blemishes (see 3 photos - last ones before hood badge - close-ups available). The car is not a concourse level show car but gets plenty of attention at the local classic car meet or in the grocery store parking lot. It is a very fun driver with plenty of giddy-up through all four gears.
Will gladly welcome your inspection, do a video walk around or answer any questions you might have..
