Vehicle Description
Finished in sharp metallic blue paint, this is the custom C3
Corvette you've been dreaming of! Killer looks, the perfect stance,
proven drivetrain, modern amenities, and a high quality
restoration, - it doesn't get any better!
Produced in March 1972 and equipped at the factory with the base
350/200 HP small-block V-8 engine, this custom third-generation
Corvette now packs the serious punch of GM's remarkable LS3 crate
engine. At 376 CI displacement, it was originally rated at 430 HP,
but GM engineers designed a new more aggressive camshaft to raise
output to 495 HP and 473 lb-ft of torque. Here it is managed by a
GM engine control module and engine harness and fitted with a
Concept One Victory Series polished pulley system and carbon fiber
upper components.
The smooth LS3 is mated to a modified Tremec Magnum 6-speed
transmission, assisted by a hydraulic cluthc, which feeds power to
the ground via a heavy-duty driveshaft and half shafts. Corvette
suspension specialists Vansteel provided the car's offset trailing
arms and front and rear coilover suspension with QA1 adjustable
shocks, and Wilwood was called upon for the complete braking
system, including 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers, the
master cylinder and the proportioning valve. Additional upgrades
include Borgeson power steering, Vintage Air and, Foose 18-inch,
two-piece, custom-finish wheels wrapped in Continental Extreme
Contact Sport tires with a Dakota Digital TPMS.
Beyond the striking exterior, the car's contrasting black interior
uses C6 bucket seats, a padded steering wheel and Dakota Digital
instruments for an updated feel. The reboot of this Corvette also
included a host of welcomed amenities such as power windows,
keyless entry, Bluetooth touchscreen stereo, and a back up
camera.
With its unmistakable sports car profile further enhanced by a
killer modern stance, this performance boosted C3 Corvette is sure
to please and will undoubtedly be a hit wherever you take it. Call
