Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/ Austin is proud to present
this 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T 426 HEMI finished in Dark Turquoise

complement its Charger fastback with a shorter and wider profile,
following it up in 1967 with more Charger styling cues including a
new single-piece grille. The Coronet R/T line was also introduced
in 1967, standing for "Road and Track." This was the first model
year of the Coronet R/T trim, which included a unique air intake
and Mopar's heavy-duty, three-speed TorqueFlite automatic
transmission with a Floor-mounted shifter. Under the louvered hood
is the monstrous powered by a 426 cu-in Hemi V8 engine equipped
with dual four-barrel carburetors and hydraulic lifters, producing
425-horsepower. The R/T Rides on thin redline tires mounted on
Magnum 500 wheels. Safety and control are also prioritized in this
classic car. Power brakes and power steering make for an easier and
safer driving experience, while the radial tires offer great grip
and stability on the road. Seatbelts are also included, reinforcing
the vehicle's commitment to safety. With approximately 340 Hemi
Coronets ordered in 1967, this is a rarely-seen alternative to the
Charger which played an important role in establishing Dodge as a
major player in the 1960s muscle segment.
