The first year of the C2 Corvette; 1963 was a huge year for the
Corvette in terms of styling and performance. The new Sting Ray
Corvette; though smaller than its predecessor; had more commanding
looks and a longer list of available features. Lighter than its
predecessor the C2 was more nimble and civilized than previous
models. Features such as power brakes and power steering became
options; growing the potential market for the Corvette.
This 1963 Corvette is presented in what is considered by many to be
the most striking color combination offered - Tuxedo Black against
Red interior. Powered by its matching-numbers 327ci/360hp V8 tied
to a 4-speed manual transmission with factory Rochester Fuel
Injection, this car presents a highly desirable build. With a 3.08
poistraction rear, cast iron exhaust manifolds and a fully
independent suspension with front coil springs, this Corvette is a
fantastic vehicle to both drive and show. Newly replaced spinner
cast-aluminum knock-off wheels with blackwall tires round out an
incredible attractive package. Throughout the exterior and
interior, this car presents the opportunity to own a well-restored
and maintained rare '63 fuelie.
New redline tires being added - photos will be updated shortly.
Unless stated otherwise, mileage shown on odometer is exempt and
known if original.
