Built V8Porsche Miami BlueLow Original MilesShown here is a full
body off restored Defender 110 Soft Top that went through a whole
truck load (pun intended) of tasteful modifications and performance
upgrades. This 1989 model was factory built with the 3.5L V8 and
was purchased by Car Cave with approximately 58K original miles
prior to the restoration. We love this Defender and took it on
several road trips where it performed exceptionally well. The
Defender is finished in Porsche Miami Blue (Color Code M5C) which
pairs perfect with the Exmoor Trim Camel Fluted leather interior
and black accents. The proprietor of Car Cave USA built this for
part of his private collection and it has always been kept in
climate-controlled storage when not in use.The Defender was sold
new in Greece and purchased by our Athens location. When we found
this Defender it had a straight body and rust free chassis. All of
the original spot welds on the tub were in place. It was a great
base for an epic build. We could easily recognize upon inspection
this Defender lived in the dry Greek climate and was well taken
care of throughout its life. Car Cave then painstakingly stripped
this Defender down to the chassis for a mechanical rebuild and
completed a full rotisserie respray of the body.Upgrades and

drive with the factory built 3.5L Rover V8 that has been
performance modified with a Edelbrock Performer Intake, Holley
Sniper Fuel Injection, headers, and stainless steel exhaust. We
have the tune on the Sniper EFI kit dialed in nicely and the
Defender cruisers down the interstate. The Safety Devices 6 point
roll cage provides excellent rollover protection. Safety Devices
was the vendor Land Rover used to get the North American Spec
Defenders certified by NHSTA for legal road use in the United
States. All of the 1993 Defender 110 US Spec models and all NAS
Defender 90 models feature a Safety Devices roll cage. We also love
the look and contrasting black color. Our color pallet for the
entire Defender build is the Porsche Miami Blue and black, with
Camel Upholstery.A great riding set of new 305/70R18 Cooper
Discoverer STT Pro tires (full size spare mounted on back) keep the
wheels spinning and traction to the pavement. Speaking of wheels,
the expensive yet beautiful 18' Black Venti wheels look great when
paired with the Cooper Discoverer tires. The tire size matches
perfectly to the size of lift. We used Bearmach Blue +5 CM springs
which are known for their excellent all around ride quality. A
full-size matching spare is mounted on the aftermarket Mantec tire
carrier just above the NAS style rear bumper. We wired a trailer
light connection to the rear so you can tow your boat or favorite
toys. The factory V8 engine runs extremely well with a deep subtle
growl of a V8. The 5-Speed manual transmission shifts correctly
through the gears smooth and precisely.A few tasteful upgrades have
been added to this Defender but overall stays very original to its
heritage. We did not want to stray to far from the classic half
door look and kept the iconic Defender open dash unobstructed.
Upgrades include LED lighting, Exmoor trim upholstery, Exmoor Trim
canvas top, rear cargo mat, premium locking center console, Momo
steering wheel, color matched mirrors, KBX grill, and HD steering
rods. The factory options are pretty typical for a Defender of the
era including a heater, rear fog lamp, windshield wipers, blinkers,
power steering, and power disc brakes.
