For Sale: 1932 Ford Roadster in Gladwin, Michigan

Vehicle Description

This ’32 Ford roadster is a highboy hot rod that was built in 2016 by Adams Hot Rod Shop of Georgia. The car utilizes a fiberglass body from Kaenan in addition to frame rails from American Stamping, and it is also equipped with a dropped front axle, front disc brakes, a Rootlieb hood with vented side panels, and a removable black soft top.

Power is provided by a forged 383ci Chevrolet V8 backed by a TH350 automatic transmission and a 9″ rear end.

Interior appointments include brown leather upholstery, Classic Instruments gauges, and a LimeWorks steering wheel. The car has won multiple Goodguys Rod & Custom Association awards, photos featured in Goodguys Magazine, along with a National Street Rod Association Pro’s Pick.

This Deuce highboy is now offered with a clean Michigan title as a 1932 Ford.  The Kaenan fiberglass body was meticulously finished in a custom shade of green with modest pin striping applied to multiple areas, as are the metal Rootlieb hood and American Stamping frame rails. The underside has been painstakingly finished with the same quality as the rest of the car.  The build also incorporates a chopped Rodwell windshield with dual side mirrors as well as a fuel tank from Tanks Inc., front and rear chrome bumper bars, and a removable black soft top.  Steel 16″ wheels are finished in brown and wear chrome hubcaps along with Firestone Deluxe Champion tires. Front suspension incorporates a SoCal dropped, drilled chrome axle with a traverse leaf spring and dual wishbone, while adjustable Aldan coil-overs and 350-lb springs are fitted out back.  Braking is handled by SoCal finned chrome concealed Wilwood calipers with discs up front and drums out back.  The cabin houses a bench seat trimmed in custom brown leather upholstery with leather and steel trim accents, complemented by matching upholstery on the door panels, side panels, firewall lining, and trunk lining. Light tan square weave carpets with matching floor mats finish out the cockpit.  Additional interior appointments include lap seatbelts, a Lokar shifter, and drilled chrome pedals.  A three-spoke steering wheel from LimeWorks is mounted on a chrome Borgeson steering column, and Classic Instruments gauges feature So-Cal branding. The five-digit odometer shows 220 miles, which is the total distance driven.  A fully forged 383ci Chevrolet V8 crate engine was installed during the build and is equipped with a Lunati camshaft and Holley 750 double pumper carburetor. Additional equipment includes finned valve covers, a PRC radiator and shroud, heat-wrapped exhaust manifolds, and a custom exhaust system.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission with external cooler and a 9″ rear end with a 3.00:1 final-drive ratio.

This car will turn heads every time it leaves the garage.  It has been proven to hold it’s own at nationally recognized shows and will almost certainly bring home hardware at any show it’s taken to!
