Vehicle Description
1974 Plymouth Duster
The Plymouth Duster is a semi-fastback version of the Plymouth
Valiant. It combined the compact draw of the Valiant with a sporty
body style and was produced from 1970 to 1976. This 1974 is a
nicely built car and is street legal but was set up to be quick.
The body is solid, all rust free and painted in the always popular
Mopar Plum Crazy color. It has the dual into single Black side
stripes with "360" on the rear fenders. The front and rear bumpers
have been painted to match the body. It has its factory front and
rear lights but the taillights are now framed in Black trim. On the
front cowl a chrome AutoMeter Carbon Fiber tachometer has been
added. Back on the rear taillight panel you will find easy to
access posts for charging/jumping off the battery. Underneath all
four corners are nicely chromed 8 hole mag wheels with street
slicks.
Turning the tires is a professionally built 360 V8 motor that runs
very strong. It is a high performance motor putting out around 400
horsepower. It has been fitted with Mopar Performance valve covers,
a Mopar Performance air cleaner, 4 barrel carburetor, and an air
gap intake. In back is a 8 3/4 inch posi rear end with Moser axles.
In the trunk is the fuel cell and the battery has also been moved
to that location. Other nice upgrades include the MSD ignition
system and front disc brakes. This is one quick Mopar you are going
to have a blast driving.
Inside the car is done in all Black. It has dual bucket seats up
front with a 5 point harness. A 6 point roll cage has been added
for safety and lets you know the car means business. The dash on it
is mostly stock but a tach with shift light has been added on top
as well as a second set of gauges underneath. The shifter moves
through the gears smoothly and is mounted to the center
console.
This cool Duster is a very fun Mopar that was built right.
Make it yours for the very reasonable price of $21,000.00!
