This 1968 Mercury Cougar has been transformed into a street-tuned
machine, wearing a brilliant white exterior that accentuates every
angle. From the razor-sharp grille to the sequential taillights,
this Cougar displays predatory elegance. The iconic body lines flow
seamlessly into the fastback profile, while custom 17-inch Cragar
SS wheels add a modern performance aesthetic. Bright chrome
bumpers, dual exhaust tips, and immaculate trim provide the perfect

Inside, the all-black cockpit delivers pure performance-focused
design. High-bolstered bucket seats keep occupants anchored through
the curves, complemented by a sporty Grant GT steering wheel. The
floor-mounted shifter rises from a factory center console, while
specially mounted auxiliary gauges monitor vital engine functions.
The classic dash houses the original-style AM radio, upgraded with
custom rear deck-mounted speakers. Power steering ensures precise
control at any speed.
The powerplant is a fresh 302 cubic inch V8 crate motor, mated to a
bulletproof C4 3-speed automatic transmission. Performance upgrades
include an Edelbrock high-rise intake manifold, MSD electronic
ignition for reliable spark, and a modern serpentine belt system
driving an electric cooling fan. The chassis has been completely
re-engineered with tubular A-arm front suspension, adjustable
coilovers at all four corners, and a performance-tuned 3-link rear
setup with a Ford 9-inch differential. Four-wheel disc brakes
provide exceptional stopping capability, while subframe connectors
increase structural rigidity.
