The Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet is one of the most unusual cars
ever made, combining a potent V6, a nice leather interior, and
all-wheel drive into the body of a convertible SUV. Seeing one is a
rare sight these days, and this one seems particularly nice. Its
odometer currently displays roughly 16158 miles, and it's been kept
by conscientious owners since new. It benefits from some desirable
equipment, including all-wheel drive, the Navigation Package, Bose
sound system, and a handsome Camel "Premium" leather interior. This
Murano CrossCabriolet also completely unmodified, and it's been
owned in the warm-weather South since new, adding even more peace
of mind.
According to the window sticker provided , factory equipment
includes the Navigation Package, a power-operated soft top, 20-inch
aluminum alloy wheels, premium leather interior, heated front
seats, power-adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support and
memory, wood interior trim, a Bose 7-speaker audio system,
dual-zone automatic climate control, and more as detailed below.
The are no modifications.
Nissan shocked the world with the introduction of the Murano
CrossCabriolet at the Los Angeles Motor Show in 2010. Reportedly
the brainchild of then-CEO Carlos Ghosn, the CrossCabriolet was
based on the wildly successful second-generation Murano crossover.
To accomplish this, Nissan removed two doors and added a fully
automatic hydraulically operated soft top, as well as a bespoke
interior. Unfortunately, the CrossCabriolet never sold very well;
sales peaked at just 3,278 units in 2012, leading Nissan to
discontinue its convertible crossover after the 2014 model year
with no planned replacement.
