Vehicle Description
It isn't easy for a modern-day muscle car to be thought of as a
'sleeper,' but in today's era of outlandishly styled, overly
body-clad, giant rear-winged, and ostentatiously painted cars and
trucks, a car like this sleek and subtle 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
Procharged LSX in its two-tone Olympic White and black exterior can
oftentimes go overlooked. But if you're paying attention, the
heat-extractor cowl hood, front lip - and rear deck spoiler all
hint that a bit more thoroughbred DNA might be embedded into this
Pony Car.
Inside, the top-tier ZL1 trim brings heated six-way
power-adjustable bucket seats trimmed in posh suede leather and
embossed with GM's most powerful logo on their headrests. A thick,
padded, three-spoke steering wheel has functional buttons to
control the Boston Acoustics premium AM/FM/CD/Aux/Satellite sound
system. Along with those power seats, this ZL1 gets power mirrors,
locks, windows, and a heads-up display to allow you to keep your
eye on the road as much as possible.
Under that louvered hood, we find a massive 454 cubic-inch LSX V-8.
As if a modern big block wouldn't be enough power on its own, this
Camaro gets an F1A 94mm Procharger bolted to it to ram a tornado of
supercharged air into a Fast LSXR 102mm intake and onto those huge
combustion chambers. Then, a set of LSX aluminum heads are operated
via a custom grind camshaft to produce a lope on this car that
sounds like nothing else. Further enhancing that big block sound is
a set of cat-less long tube headers that flow into an x-pipe and
out through a sweet-sounding MagnaFlow exhaust.

While it's rare for a stock ZL1 to look underpowered, this
near-1000-horsepower 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Procharged LSX makes
almost anything look slow. With a 6L90E six-speed automatic
transmission, fully independent suspension featuring aftermarket
rear lower control arms, and MagnaRide shocks, this ZL1 is also
extremely capable of maintaining control through twists and turns.
The ZL1's factory Brembo brakes help slow down the staggered Weld
Racing wheels that measure 215/45R-20 front and wider 305/45R-17
rear Mickey Thompson ET Street R DOT tires. Although this
incredible Camaro may not qualify as a true 'sleeper,' we're
willing to bet that you will find more than a few surprised faces
on anyone foolish enough to line up next to you expecting stock ZL1
power. Call today!
