This 911 just underwent a great deal of mechanical work to bring the car up to par. The parts and work included:
Warm up regulator rebuild. Fuel distributor rebuild. New fuel pump, fuel accumulator and fuel filter. New plugs, wires, distributor cap, and ignition distributor wire. New alternator, battery and starter. New front and rear brake rotors, calipers, and pads. New brake master cylinder, brake booster and brake hoses. New inlet air box with pop off valve installation. New shifter bushings, engine sound pad and pedal box. New hot air hose, oil hose, and breather hose. Rear axle rebuild. New tires all around. R&R Fuchs. New front trunk carpet kit and carpet mats. Oil change and filter, plus new air filter.
During the repairs, the mechanic did inspect the head studs and confirmed that all are intact. Also he conducted a leak down test and found no issues with any of the cylinders.
Both the exterior and interior show overall quite well, but are not perfect. This is an air-cooled classic that has not undergone a major cosmetic refurbishment, so imperfections are to be expected.
