Starts and runs great. This 1954 Chevy 3100 pickup was restored and finished in 2017, and has lived in a garage since then. It has a 4 speed transmission, and a 235 c.i. inline 6 engine. During restoration, everything was done- the frame was sandblasted and painted, the engine was rebuilt, and the body work completed. Pretty much every bolt was taken out.
The odometer reading of 714 miles is true since restoration. Gauges work. The orange-ish red color is an original color which was produced in 1954. The wood bed is in great shape with chrome strips between the stained oak.
The electrical system has been converted from 6 volts to 12 volts.
The body is in great condition, except for a few small chips in the paint where the doors and hood close.
There are very few 1954 Chevy pickups out there that still have the original engine, transmission, and body, but this is one of them. This pickup is very fun to drive!
