1968 CHEVROLET CAMARO RS (Z/28 TRIBUTE) 4 SPEED,12 BOLT, PDB! This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z/28 is one clean car, no rust. It is very sharp in a factory color, Matador Red with optional Tuxedo Black racing stripes running down the cowl induction hood and the trunk lid. The paint is very smooth and glossy. Looking down both sides; it is straight and the body lines and fitment are nice. All the chrome and trim are in great condition. This gorgeous Camaro has the very desirable optional hideaway headlights that work. It sits on a set of Chevy Rallys with a set of new 235/60/15 BF Goodrich T/A raised white letter radial tires on all four corners. The interior is in great shape. The dash area is very clean, clear lenses, nice dash pad (no cracks) and a factory AM radio. The original steering wheel is in great shape. The black bucket seats have new cushions and the 4-speed console is in great shape with a Hurst 4-speed shifter coming out of it. It also has a newer headliner and carpet. This Camaro also features front and rear original GM seat belts. The engine compartment is nicely detailed with a 327 cubic inch engine. This engine has a few performance upgrades: chrome valve covers and air cleaner, aluminum intake with a Holley carburetor, HEI ignition for reliability. It still retains its original exhaust manifolds. It also features the correct deep groove pulleys and a four core radiator with correct fan shroud. It is very clean and proper. The undercarriage appears to be all clean metal. The front end has been rebuilt. The bottom of the motor is clean as well as the 4-speed transmission. It has a factory style dual exhaust system with the correct transverse muffler, tailpipes that exit out the back, newer gas tank straps and sending unit. The E-brake assembly is complete and working. The metal appears to be very clean. The floors, frame, frame rails and rockers are all clean metal. All new fuel and brake lines,12 bolt posi with 3:31 running gears. It is just as nice underneath as the top side, very impressive!! The trunk compartment is solid metal and appears to be original. It is detailed with a light coat of black and aqua splatter paint, spare tire and jack assembly. This 1968 Camaro RS Z/28 drives great, sounds great and looks great too!
