Iroc-Z28 for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. Back in 1967, GM
rushed out the F-body styles to counter the unpredictable
popularity of the Mustang. While the generations changed the Camaro
greatly over the years, the main themes stayed the same. Low, quick
power and style to go tear up the roads never go out of style. The
3rd generation Camaro's ran from 1982 to 1992 and were the first of
the line to offer modern fuel injection and a strong 700R4
automatic transmission.
The cabin features factory bucket seats trimmed in tan cloth with
brown piping and "Camaro" embroidery along with matching carpets
and trim. It has a Pioneer AM/FM/CD player and power windows,
locks, mirrors, and hatch release. The car is also equipped with a
rear window defogger. A factory leather wrapper steering wheel
frames 240-mph speedometer, a tachometer with 5,500-rpm redline
with coolant temperature, fuel level, volts, and oil pressure
gauges. The odometer shows 97,753 km (original miles).
The car is finished in Yellow (51U) and features a front air dam
and rocker panel extensions, body-color side moldings, removable
glass T-top panels, and a power antenna. IROC-Z graphics adorn each
lower door, while the rocker panels bear Z28 badges. Factory 16?
aluminum wheels with IROC-Z center caps are mounted with KUMHO7
tires, 245/50R16. Braking is handled by power-assisted front and
rear discs, and the car is equipped with the Special Sport
Suspension package.
The 5.7-liter L98 V8 was equipped with a tuned port Injection
system for a factory rating of 225 horsepower and 330 lb.-ft of
torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed
automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
