classic British motoring, with only 63,000 miles on the odometer.
Purchased by the current owner from Barrett-Jackson in 2006, this
car has seen thoughtful care and maintenance over the years,
ensuring it remains in excellent driving condition.
The car is powered by a 2.9-liter inline-six engine, featuring twin
SU carburetors and producing a robust 124 horsepower. This engine

2010.
In April 2014, the front end received significant attention with
new outer and inner tie rods, a new throttle linkage, a new heat
shield, and an electric choke. These updates contribute to the
car's responsive handling and smooth operation. Additionally, a
steel luggage rack, imported from the UK, was installed in
September 2014, adding both practicality and vintage flair.
Further mechanical updates include the replacement of the clutch
slave cylinder and hose in October 2015. More recently, in March
2023, the Austin-Healey received new front brakes, including new
calipers, ceramic pads, and stainless steel braided brake hoses,
along with a new master cylinder, ensuring reliable stopping power
and improved braking performance.
The car is finished in a classic color combination and features a
sleek, low-slung body design that is quintessentially British. The
exterior is complemented by wire-spoke wheels and the iconic front
grille, while the interior boasts blue leather seats with white
piping and a wood veneer dashboard. The overall aesthetic is both
elegant and sporty, offering a timeless appeal.
This Austin-Healey 3000 MK I also comes with an official copy of
the factory record from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust,
adding to its historical significance and collectible value.
