Gallery is this one-of-a-kind 1959 Chevrolet vehicle. Upon first
glance, it is instantly unrecognizable but that is the appeal of
this type of vehicle. Derived from a 1959 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup,
this custom vehicle rides on the truck's chassis. Additional
elements from the truck include the heavy duty inline-6 motor,
4-speed manual transmission, taillights, and the 16-inch wheels.
The rest of the vehicle is a unique conglomerate of various parts
that come together to make a special running and driving
vehicle.
Cooling the motor is a 1955 Chevy truck radiator and the grille is
from a 1935 Ford. Lighting the road ahead are lights from a
Studebaker. Moving to the body, the majority of the cab, including
the doors, are from a 1961 Austin Healey. The front fenders are
from a 1932 Plymouth while the hood is from a '36 Plymouth. Moving
towards the rear of the vehicle, the rear fenders actually aren't
from a car at all as they were sourced from a 1975 tractor. Coated
in black with accenting grey and silver pinstriping, this special
car certainly will command attention.
Built by the selling owner's father, this vehicle tells the story
of a passionate builder who had the opportunity to build exactly
what they wanted. Following its completion, the selling owner's
father would drive it to work every day for many years which speaks
