The 1985 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe Featured here is finished in its
factory unrestored color combination of Cotillion White with a
matching White partial vinyl padded roof, and a Dark Hunt Club Red
pinstripe over a Red & White Leather interior. This example was
completed at General Motors' Linden Assembly in March 1985 and sold
originally through Hoot McInerney Cadillac Inc of Mt. Clemens,
Michigan later that month. Reputedly held under single family
ownership from new, this Eldorado boasts preservation levels of
originality and has only 24,000 actual miles! The Cadillac remained
in Michigan until the spring of 2021, when it was acquired by a
family member in St. Louis, Missouri. Later in 2021, the Eldorado
underwent an extensive full service including the fitting of a new
aluminum radiator, new air-conditioning compressor, new water pump,
new thermostat, four new whitewall tires and more.
When IT'S ALIVE! acquired the Cadillac, it was apparent that the
Eldorado had always been incredibly well maintained. The car
presents as cosmetically unrestored throughout. On the exterior
some visible paint wear can be observed under careful inspection
while the original bumper fillers display the typical cracking that
plagued the cars from new. The interior remains incredibly
comfortable with the white leather still plush to the touch and the
dash trimmings presenting as new. The trunk retains the factory
burgundy carpeting, original jack and lug wrench, and the Goodyear
space saver spare which still retains factory inspection marks!
Under the hood sits the matching-numbers "High Technology" 4100 V8
and Turbo Hydramatic 4-speed automatic transmission. On a recent
test drive an IT'S ALIVE! team member marveled at the cars
functionality, noting the recently serviced Electronic Climate
Control Air-Conditioning system and Cruise Control both function as
designed! While the original AM/FM Radio & Power Antenna function
as designed the Cassette reader is currently inoperable.
Fortunately the "Symphony Sound" built-in equalizer function as
new. The new owner will have to opportunity to have the Cassette
function restored or could install a period looking unit with
modern electronics. A plethora of original documents accompany the
Cadillac today, including its original Cadillac "Gold Key" delivery
books, cassette and two sets of original gold keys. Supplementary
documentation includes a clean CarFax report, $4600.00 Service
Invoice and a list of decoded RPO options. IT'S ALIVE! is proud to
offer this well-maintained 1980s time-warp with low mileage and
exceedingly high level of originality. If you are the next owner of
