Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to represent this gorgeous
1949 Cadillac Series 62! The Cadillac Series 40-62 is a series of
cars which was produced by Cadillac from 1940 through 1964. The
third generation was from 1948-1953, and the new Cadillac OHV V8
was the big news for 1949, with minor trim differences otherwise.
This 331 cu in (5.4 L) engine produced 160 HP and weighed 200
pounds less than the old flathead V8 in addition to being shorter
and lower. This particular example is finished in a nice shade of
Light Blue over a Cloth bench seat interior. Aside from the new
year V8 motor, this luxury coupe is also optioned with a smooth
shifting Automatic Transmission. Still relying on a 6-Volt
electrical system, this original 1949 Cadillac is a blast to drive
and well suited for secondary roads! If you are in the market for a
well-kept, nicely restored example of Post-War Cadillacs, this 1949
Series 62 is for you! To see more HD pictures and video please
