A beautiful Japanese market Mini. And, as a Japanese market car, far more elaborate and much better engineering (I suspect the Japanese would not accept a fragile car).
998cc engine, absolutely rust free body and floor with excellent original dark blue exterior and virtually perfect original gray interior. Minilite alloy wheels, disc brakes, dual circuit brakes, roll bar, 3 point belts front and rear, an elaborate Sony stereo built into the dashboard, factory air conditioning, all synchromesh rod change gearbox/shift linkage, IF washed and waxed (sorry, photos taken in our showroom basement with 1/2" of dust giving the car a gray looking exterior). Have driven home a few days and after 50 years of driving old British Minis, this version is remarkably close to giving the impression of driving a modern car.
