Engine & Transmission: The 5.0 liter V8 engine runs strong and preforms very nice. It delivers power whenever you want it. Factory-rated at 225 horsepower. The car has a 5-speed manual transmission and shifts very smoothly. The underside of the car is clean. Anything mechanically it needed over the years was attended too as the collector likes to have his cars ready for use and not just sit. There are receipt’s in the (detailed photo link) to show the commitment to this car.
Body: Finished in white with sunroof. The body panels are all straight. All glass is in great shape. The paint is nice even up close. I am pretty particular when it comes to condition and after close examination I could only find one blemishes in the paint on the front passenger side fender and a few small rock chips on front of hood (see video). GT trim package includes ground effects, black window trim, and front fog lamps, side skirts, and a rear spoiler. 15” stock four bold rims with locking nut and 205/65R15 2012 date code Michelin tires. Comes with black leather bra. The car has never been hit and is kept in a heated/carpeted garage.
Interior: The tan cloth interior is very clean and has newly restored seats with stock power lumbar switch on side of seats. The collector likes clean interiors and has them restored to new. Power windows, power door locks, upgraded Nakamichi CD radio in the dash. Instruments work as they should. Floor mats, rear sliding cover over trunk is very nice and spare tire area with jack and tools. See detailed photos and video.
Note: The 25th Anniversary badge on the dash was put on cars in the spring of 1989 and continuing into the 1990 model year. Ford never offered an officially designated 25th Anniversary model.
Summary: The collector of this car is keen on keeping his cars mechanically solid for use. This is a wonderful example of a classic Fox body Mustang GT 5.0 in exceptional condition and perfect for cruising and taking to car shows. A joy to own and drive.
