For Sale: 1930 Dodge Street Rod in Columbus, Ohio

Vehicle Description

Cruisin Classics is pleased to present to you this 1930 Dodge 4-Door Streetrod. This Dodge is a very cool and unique fair-weather cruiser that will turn heads wherever it goes! This all-steel Dodge is dressed in a coat of driver-quality green metallic paint with colorful red, pink, and purple pinstriping. Up front, a winged goddess hood ornament sits above a bright chrome grille that sports a gold Dodge Brothers badge at the top and a script "Streetrod" badge placed diagonally on the grate. Rectangular chrome headlights sit on a chrome bar between the swooping fenders, just ahead of the grille. Down low is an aluminum aftermarket bumper. Behind the grille is a vented 4-piece hood with a chrome band separating the hood from the body. Just behind the chrome band on the car's body are chrome blinkers and a working power antenna for the stereo. Above the windshield is a steel visor that adds to the cool factor. While you're looking upward, check out the fully functional power moonroof that has been added - you sure don't see that feature on many cars of this genre! Moving downward, you'll see that this Dodge has rear suicide doors and that both the front and rear door handles have been shaved. Often times when handles have been removed, doors are equipped with "poppers" to open them. With this car, however, there is a fob on the keychain that simply rolls down the electric driver's side window so that you can reach in and open the door. All of the windows are lightly tinted, the four-door windows are all power-operated, and the back windows are crank-operated. Both front doors have aftermarket side mirrors and wing windows added - a nice touch. Beneath the doors are very solid wood running boards. Around the back is a rear-mounted spare with a body-color cover, a factory-placed external gas tank, dual exhaust tips, and a trailer hitch. The hitch has been added for a body-color (and pinstriped) fiberglass trailer that is included with the car. The trailer is perfect for bringing along some folding chairs and a cooler to the local car show or event. This Dodge has a great stance as it rolls down the road on a set of aluminum American Racing wheels wrapped in Firestone Firehawk SS20 tires.

Under the hood, you'll find a clean and organized engine bay with a 350 V-8 at the center. The V-8 is topped with finned green valve covers, an aluminum intake, a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, and a green oval-shaped air cleaner. Keeping things bright are a chrome alternator, a chrome cover over the cast exhaust manifolds, and a flat chrome firewall cover. Up front is an aluminum pulley system, a Tuff Stuff power steering pump, a newer rack pinion, and an electric puller fan on the radiator. The front disc and rear drum brakes are assisted with a power booster located under the car and mounted to the frame. Exhaust travels through glass-pack style mufflers on the way to the rear end, resulting in an awesome rumble at the tailpipes. The V-8 is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly. Driveability is excellent thanks to what we believe is a Mustang II front end.

Inside the car, you'll find a largely grey interior in good condition. Open the door and immediately the courtesy lights pop on. The door cards are composed of grey felt, grey fabric, and greenish-grey carpet and they feature map pockets and aftermarket door handles. The car is outfitted with greenish-grey carpet and there are grey carpeted Dodge floormats to keep it looking nice. The front bucket and rear bench seats are covered with two-tone grey cloth and are in excellent condition with no stains or tears. The grey felt headliner is tight and there is a pull-back sun-shade on the moon roof that's covered in the same felt. Controls for the power windows and the moonroof are located above the windshield. Under the windshield is a custom wood dash that is home to a digital gauge cluster directly ahead of the driver. On the cluster are gauges for fuel, volts, oil, and temp as well as a speedometer and tachometer. The odometer shows 2,075 miles and the title says this mileage is not actual. In the center of the dash is an Audiovox AM/FM/Cassette/CB radio that plays through speakers hidden behind the carpet on the kick panels. Also on the dash are an ashtray lighter, a pull switch for the lights, and a glovebox. Ahead of the driver is a later-model Dodge tilt steering column with a Dodge logo steering wheel. The turn signal lever works, but the cruise control and intermittent wiper functions on the stalk do not (neither does the horn). Please note that this car has no heat, fan, or windshield wipers - so it is strictly a fair-weather vehicle.

If you're looking for a cool classic car that's different than all the predictable classics at the car show or cruise-in then you're going to want to take a good look at this Dodge Streetrod! This is an old-school hot rod that will turn heads without breaking the bank. It is turnkey ready to hit the road today and start making you smile, mile after mile!
