This 2008 CLK 63 AMG Black Series is one of just 500 examples
produced for the global market during its three-year production
run. Clad in a most appropriate color scheme-Bright Silver Metallic
paint over Black Nappa leather with carbon fiber trim, with a host
of desirable options.
To give it a significant boost over AMG's already capable
hand-built 6.2-liter V-8 engine, the CLK 63 Black Series powerplant
receives an improved engine map which provides 500 horsepower
routed to the rear wheels via a seven-speed AMG Speedshift
transmission. This example has been further enhanced with Weistec
Engineering rev-matching software, secondary catalytic converter
removal, and revised air intakes with aFe POWER filters (original
intakes boxes accompany).
Notable services include replaced valve lifter buckets, ARP engine
head studs, fuel rail, KW Suspension refresh, and XPEL paint
protection film. Additional recent services included oil changes,
replacing the spark plugs, fuel pump, new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
Tires and TPMS sensors (2024).
