1981 Camaro pro touring/ resto mod/ show car This car has been owned by me since 1995. In 2010 a full rotisserie style restoration was done with nearly everything being upgraded, repaired or replaced with about 2700 miles on the odometer since rebuild. Below is a list of specifications - - ZZ502 GM performance crate motor with a “Racer Brown” custom grind hydraulic roller cam shaft, intake and a 930 cfm AED manual secondary carb. Makes a little over 500 HP at the wheels on a chassis dyno. - Tremec TKO 600 5 speed manual transmission with overdrive. Twin disk Mcleod clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing package. - Dana 60 with 3:73 gears and a “Trutrac” posi unit capable of handling 1000 hp and was built by “Drive Train Specialist” in their custom service shop - Headers and 3” stainless exhaust with X pipe done by “Pirhana Fabrications” - Willwood brakes - SBBC brake booster and master cylinder - Removed all stock components and did a complete suspension upgrade using “Global West” suspension parts... including all tubular front suspension components and rear leaf springs to accomplish a 2” drop in ride height. Frame connectors by Global West also installed - QA1 adjustable shocks front and rear - Removed factory steering box and upgraded to a “Unisteer” performance rack and pinion steering - Big block chevy all Inclusive Ultra Drive Serpentine System from “March Performance Products” - Bottom sump was installed in the fuel tank with a Aeromotive A1000 electric fuel pump - “Be Cool” aluminum radiator with dual fans - “Vintage Air” AC and heat package - “Valet” electric window and door lock package installed with remote entry key fob and automatic trunk release - Full “Pioneer” audio sound system installed with touchscreen and GPS. Pioneer amp and subwoofer installed in the trunk allowing plenty of storage space for luggage, chairs or even a pop up canopy when heading out for a full day at a car show - “Foose Legend” wheels with BF Goodrich G-Force 245/40/18 on the front and 335/30/18 on the rear - Paint and body was done by “Ken’s Body Shop” with amazing attention to detail. Exterior is smooth as glass and the underside of the hood and deck lid are show polished as well. The firewall has been smoothed out and the engine bay is finished off nicely with matching body color paint. - Custom interior was done by “Pruiett Automotive Restoration” - Many custom items were done by “Pirhana Fabrications” including the custom chin spoiler, hard line polished radiator and heater hoses, fender braces, valve covers etc. (see photos) There is so much that goes into building a car at this level so the above list is not all inclusive. It has been shown at the Carlisle GM Nationals in the “invitational only” area and has been awarded trophies at many car shows including the Camaro Nationals. This car will speak for itself. It rides and drives beautifully and it sounds like a race car with the custom cam shaft and stainless bullet mufflers. This car will cruise down the highway at 80 mph at low rpm. We have enjoyed this car for a long time but I’m ready to let it go and I am asking $50,000. I checked parts, labor and material pricing and this build would cost more than $100,000 to complete in the current market.
