We will start off with the exterior of this Mustang. When you walk
around it you will notice that the body has great fit of the panels
and that the gaps are even and symmetrical. All the body panels are
rock solid and when you look down the sides, you'll notice they did
an exceptional job of getting it straight. It's covered in the
two-tone color combination of Black with the Pewter Accents. The
paint has been buffed and polished to a gorgeous finish that slick
as a ribbon. The front bumper is painted black and it also has the
front spoiler. You'll notice the headlight and taillights all look
like new and that out back it has the Chrome Bumper with the rear
exiting exhaust tips. This '73 is a Convertible and has the working
Black Power Top. We can also see that every piece of glass in this
Mustang is in phenomenal condition with the side glass rolling up
and down with ease. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of
Magnum 500 Wheels with BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
Next, we will look at the inside of this Convertible. The interior
is done in the two tone White and Black color combination. It comes
with Bucket Seats and Console which houses the automatic shifter.
The seats are the high back standard seats that were replaced at
the time of the restoration. It also has the White convertible top
boot cover for when the top is down. Looking at the dash it's done
in black with the correct steering wheel. The dash pad is like new
and all the gauges look excellent and are working as they should.
It comes with the front and rear seat belts. Also new carpet was
installed along with the sill plates. In the trunk everything is
solid and is detailed with the trunk mat and spare.
Finally, we will look at the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood
it's powered by the 351 Cleveland engine that's set up with the 2
Barrel Intake and Motorcraft Carb. The 351 is mated to the C6 Trans
and 9" Rear End with 2.73 Gears. It's dressed in the factory style
valve covers and air cleaner. All the inner fenders and firewall
are rock solid. This is one of the cleanest engine bays we've ever
seen on a mustang and looks like they day it would have when new on
the showroom floor. It comes set up with Power Steering and Power
Brakes with Disc on the front and Drums out back. For exhaust it
has manifolds with dual pipes and Flowmaster style mufflers. When
you look under it, you'll see that the Gas tank has been replaced
and that all of the gas and fuel lines are in good condition. Under
the front it has had the ball joints replaced along with the end
link bushings along with new shocks. All of the floors and frame
are solid and in great condition.
