Gordon Friedman, one of the most experienced Porsche engine
builders for enthusiasts and club racers, oversaw the work. The
rebuild included new pistons, cylinders, bearings, crankshaft,
rods, timing chains, variable cam actuators, cooling pipe upgrade,
4.0L centre intake plenum, valve guides, valves, injectors,
gaskets, dyno testing, and ECU tuning using Cobb. This meticulous
build replicated the 4.0-Litre engine found in the limited 2012
Porsche GT3 RS.
