The Galaxie 500XL has a muscle car flair with a V8 engine plus bucket seats and center console with floor shifter. This example sports the most popular drivetrain for this model, a 352ci V8 and the 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. Both were refurbished in 2002, about 25,000 miles ago, and the receipts are included. It has new seat covers and dash cover to spruce up the beautiful red interior. The original color Rangoon Red paint was refreshed as well. A nice upgrade is the 4-wheel power disc brakes which, when working with the 16 inch American Racing aluminum wheels and 225/60R16 radial tires, provide confident and smooth handling. Handling is further enhanced with factory power steering. The white convertible top is power operated and can be covered with a handsome red boot. Also included is a set of fender skirts and the handy and interesting 1963 Ford Registered Owner's Manual.
