Power from that big block is sent through a six-speed manual transmission, upgraded to a Gen 3 unit capable of handling even more power than its predecessor. While the front 275/35ZR-18 Michelin Pilot Sport tires are wide enough to be most sports cars' rear tires, the Viper gets a steam-roller-sized 335/30ZR-18 meats out back, proof that this car can walk the walk.

This 1998 Dodge Viper RT/10 rides on an upgraded suspension featuring Penske double-adjustable shocks and Hypercoil springs, which makes it look ready to strike from any angle. Power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes add more civility to this neo-Cobra than the car it is based upon.
