1966 Ford F100 Custom Cab short wheelbase, 352 F.E. engine with a 2 barrel carburetor, automatic transmission, dual exhaust and sliding rear window.
Vehicle was bought in 2022 for a restoration project. This truck was bought new in Central Alabama and has remained there its entire life. The truck is rust free other than some minor surface rust on the frame / undercarriage (shown in pictures). The engine, transmission, and truck bed have all been removed so that everything could be steam cleaned. The engine had been rebuilt by the previous owner and ran great when I got it. After thoroughly cleaning the engine, I removed all of the old paint and repainted it with Ford Blue paint and replaced the intake, valve cover, and exhaust gaskets. In addition, I also replaced any parts that I felt would put the truck in like new condition. Some of those were: Distributor, coil, plugs, plug wires, fuel pump, belts and hoses, all wiring harnesses, voltage regulator, starter, radiator, and gas tank with new sending unit. I also installed Power Master Legion Series front and rear power disc brakes and replaced the parking brake cables. I added 4 new US Mag cast aluminum 15" wheels, new BF Goodrich white letter tires (P235/70R15), and new Monroe shocks in the rear.
