1988 944 I bought awhile back non running to tinker with. It now
runs and drives great with no lights on the dash and has a lot of
recent maintenance and repairs. I've replaced: Fuel pump and filter
Spark plugs Injector seals DME Relay Air Filter Front
calipers/pads/rotors Battery Rebuilt wiper motor I also have the
receipt for a new clutch installed 10k miles ago. All 4 cylinders
have between 200-210psi of compression. The car certainly isn't
perfect. It does have some slight rust in front of the rear wheels,
and there's a few dings on the driver's fender and hood. As you can
see, it does need a new windshield. The sunroof needs a new cable.
The motor turns, but the arms don't move. The radio doesn't turn on
The driver's seat doesn't move on the rail, it looks pretty rusted
(though the car is water tight). The driving position is fine for
me, but if you're under 6 foot I highly recommend bringing a
pillow. I do have another set of seat rails for both sides that
come with another passenger seat. It is also missing the driver's
mirror glass. It's a fun car to drive. Comes with a clean title.
