Unveiled at the Paris Salon in 1967, the 365 GT 2+2 replaced the 330 GT and continued the legacy of large 2+2 grand tourers intended for the American market. An updated variant of the long-running Colombo V12, now displacing 4.4 liters, produced 320hp via triple Weber carburetors. A new independent, self-leveling suspension offered both exceptional comfort and exceptional high-speed control. Of course, most notable is the 365 GT's stunning, hand-assembled Pininfarina bodywork. Bearing more than a passing resemblance to the 365 California; Pininfarina went for a streamlined look, with side lights and turn signals incorporated in the front bumpers.

Inside, the car's interior was swathed in leather and filled with an array of amenities more typically associated with luxury sedans of the era: power steering, brakes, and windows were standard, as was air conditioning in the American market (non-US cars received A/C as an option). Approximately 800 examples were produced between 1967 and 1971, making it more rare than its 330 GT and 250 GT/E predecessors. Naturally, these cars have enjoyed an increase in value shared with all classic Ferraris and remain exceptionally to drive.

The sensational 1970 Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 Coupe by Pininfarina featured here is finished in stunning Blu Chiaro Metallic over a stunning Rosso (red) leather interior with Nero (black) carpeting. This particular example is one of approximately 742 built in this configuration and was just released from a private collection in California. This Ferrari has received an extensive amount of restoration work, including a $50,000 investment in a new leather interior. This Ferrari performs as well as it presents and still features its original, numbers matching Colombo V12. We are proud to offer this stunning 1965 Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 to the most astute collector, investor, or enthusiast who respects the quality of these coach-built V12 Ferraris and appreciates meticulous attention to detail on well-restored/kept examples.
