With the arrival of the fourth generation F-Body for the 1993 model
year, the SLP Firehawk was offered the new, sleek, and more
aerodynamic body as part of the redesign for all Firebirds. Only
201 Firehawks were made for 1993 and this one has the serialized
plaque on the center console indicating that this car is Firehawk
#149.
The SLP Firehawk package includes a lightweight composite hood with
a functional cold-air induction system and air cleaner, 17" x
8-1/2" Firehawk edition aluminum alloy wheels, Firehawk graphics,
and a serialized dash plaque. This Firehawk is powered by a
5.7-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission with a
limited-slip differential, and it is finished in bright red over
graphite leather. It also includes removable glass roof panels, or
T-Tops as they were known as back then, a dual exhaust system,
cruise control, air conditioning, keyless entry, power windows and
locks, front sport seats, and of course, pop-up headlights.
This Firehawk is equipped with 70's style Firebird steering wheel
framing a 155-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and coolant
temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level gauges. The
airbag warning light is illuminated on the dash because the
driver's airbag was removed for the steering wheel swap but the
factory steering wheel is included in the sale.
The previous owner purchased the car in 2022 and added around 2,000
of the just over 18,000 miles on the car.IT has a clean Carfax and
is in great condition.
