Corvette Convertible is in nice condition, and features a 2017 NCRS
Chapter Second Flight award. This car's paint is good-vg, with a
nice shine. Convertible top is good-vg, and side glass shows
correct date codes. Chrome bumpers and door handles show a vg
finish. Weatherstripping and taillights are vg, chrome headlight
covers have been added, and steel wheels and correct style hubcaps
are good-vg. Firestone FR710 radial whitewall tires show an average
of 10/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1962
Corvette Convertible shows good condition seats and door panels,
good-vg carpet, and vg seatbelts. A smaller diameter steering wheel
with thicker rim has been added, along with an AM/FM radio. The
327ci restoration engine with matching numbers in this car shows
final assembly date January 19, 1962, and shows correct air
cleaner, exhaust manifolds, ignition shielding, generator, and
radiator hoses and clamps. Stamp pad has been restamped to show
this car's VIN, along with this assembly date. According to NCRS,
this is an acceptable practice, as long as the vehicle is
categorized as having a Restoration Engine. Finned aluminum valve
covers with corvette script have been added. Frame is solid and
rust-free. Included with this car will be two binders with owner
history dating back to 1979, photos of the body-on restoration from
2006-08, NCRS judging sheets and certificate, and receipts and
